SR DevOps Engineer

At Talenter, we’re looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer from Latam to join a prestigious US Asset Management firm that has recently established its Latam technology hub in Uruguay. This is a unique opportunity that includes relocation and the chance to be part of a groundbreaking team in the region.

What you will do:

Operate the alpha production system, investigate and troubleshoot issues with investment entities, respond to incidents.

Improve the reliability and operability of the alpha production system in a high-velocity enrironment.

Program, test, and deploy production software tooling for operations.

Work closely with the Research team to understand their needs and act on their requests.

What You'll Bring:

A bachelor's degree in a technical or quantitative field.

Experience with the Linux platform and toolset such as bash, git, and regex.

Experience in monitoring metrics and logs aggregation and analysis with a focus on performance optimization.

Fluency in one or more major programming languages like Python, Java, Golang.

Experience using relational databases and SQL query.

Strong written and verbal communication skills; Fluency in the English language.

Familiarity with technologies like Kafka, Redis, Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, Prometheus, Gitlab CI, and Slurm is a big plus.

Passion for software engineering and operations, be strongly interested in building and maintaining a well-operational software system.

The curiosity to dive into complex issues, find root causes, and suggest or implement solutions.
